If we understand the concepts and terminologies, then let’s figure out why a page on VK can be frozen. Below we provide a list of the main reasons why a page in VKontakte is frozen and for how long. However, please note that there is no exact data on the blocking time for a specific punishment. That is, you will not find information anywhere that you will be blocked for such and such a period for sending spam. No, the deadlines are determined by the site administration at their discretion, and it will not be possible to predict the result in advance. So, the main reasons for the ban:
- Obscene language;

Time frame - how long is data stored after freezing?
All your profile information will be saved for 7 months after manual freezing. During this period, you can easily restore the page and continue working on VKontakte. If this is not done, the data will be completely deleted and the page will not be recoverable.
If we talk about automatic blocking by the support service, they usually impose sanctions for a day, a week, etc. Most often, the freezing period is indicated on the start page when trying to log in.

Freezing is a temporary or permanent blocking of a user’s page, carried out by himself or by the administration of the social network.
- A person can independently block his own page, delete it (it won’t be possible immediately and irrevocably - he will have to wait 7 months, during which the profile can be restored).
- Only VK technical support has the right to ban a user’s page due to violations of the site’s internal rules. By the way, anyone can send a complaint to an account: the more complaints, the higher the likelihood of blocking.
How to freeze your VK page for a while?
Let's look at two options.
From computer
Log in to the social network. In the upper right corner of the screen, expand the menu and go to the “Settings” section. Make sure you are on the General tab in the next step. Here at the bottom of the page, click on the “Delete your page” link.
A pop-up window will appear asking you to indicate the reason for the freeze. If you select the "Other Reason" option, you can specify it in text using the field below. If you wish, you can publish a message about deleting your profile - the news will be in your friends' feed. The “Tell friends” checkbox is responsible for this process.
When you have checked all the boxes, click on the “Delete page” button. The action will be completed and you will be taken to a page indicating the date by which you can cancel the operation.
From phone

How to block your page manually
If you want to temporarily restrict access to your profile, you can freeze it through the settings panel. Unlike punishment from the administration, you can remove the restrictions yourself at any time and continue to fully use your account. Manual deletion and blocking are carried out according to the same algorithm with a small additional condition: to completely delete a page from the database, you must not restore it for 7 months. To manually block you need:
- Go to your profile, click on “Settings”.
- Scroll down the menu, at the bottom there will be an active link “Delete page”. Click on it.
- This will lead to account freezing, which will prevent access to the content for other users. If you want to unblock it, you will need to log in to VK and restore it from the same menu.
- If you want to completely delete your profile, then simply don’t log into it anymore; after 6-7 months, the administration will erase it from the database.

Break VK rules to freeze the page
Above I described the reasons why you may be frozen, if you are ready for this, then you can try this method. All you need to do is break a couple of site rules, and then you get a ban.
So, you can write identical messages and send them to some people, you can also send advertising messages, many users simply hate them, send messages everywhere and more.
For greater effect, find a suspicious site that is prohibited in VK, for example, a cheating service, use it, get yourself likes, friends, join a bunch of different groups. You can ask someone you know to complain about you.
On this resource you can get a large number of subscribers and VK friends; you may not need to freeze your page.

Is it possible to freeze someone else's VKontakte page?
If you think that a user is violating the rules of a social network, you can send a complaint against him. If it is justified and technical support specialists satisfy it, the person’s page will be frozen.
The complaint form is available on the user page. Go to it and open the menu located below your profile photo. Select “Report page” from the list.
Please indicate the reason for sending the complaint. In the field, write a detailed comment for the moderator, indicating the violation, links to relevant posts or materials. If necessary, you can block this person from accessing your page. To do this, check the appropriate box.
