Official application

Due to a statement from one recording studio, the program was removed from the Play Market, so you can download it from the developer’s website www.katemobile.ru. The program is perfectly optimized for working on a tablet and has many settings. Its main features:

- Launch the application, enter your VKontakte username and password. The News tab will open.

Use programs to clear cache and other junk carefully, otherwise you may accidentally delete saved audio recordings. Look carefully at what files the cleaner offers to delete.
To download a video:
- Profile - Video - name of the desired video file - Save to cache. A loading indicator will appear in the notification panel.
- In the file manager, go to the .Kate folder - video_cache - rename and move the downloaded file.
- To download directly, click on the video name - Select quality and play - Select download manager - Download.
- In the Download folder on your memory card, rename your video file. The disadvantage of this method is that it can only be used to download those files that were uploaded to the VKontakte server. If the file was attached via a link from YouTube, use saving in the cache.
