This page will help you quickly and without registration find and open a person’s VKontakte page if you know his first and last name, and even better, his address (country, city), age (or year of birth), place of study or work.

How to bypass the blocking
It happens that VK does not work because it is blocked. Access to the site may be blocked in some countries, for example, in Ukraine. Or in certain places: on a work or school computer, in a cafe, club, hotel.
There are two ways to bypass the blocking: using special programs (VPN) and through anonymizer sites. The programs change the device’s IP to the address of another country, and as a result, the blocking is lifted. And anonymizers are services on the Internet that open blocked resources directly through their website.
Programs to bypass blocking
TunnelBear tunnelbear.com is the simplest and most reliable program. Can be used on computers with Windows or MacOs, on Android or Apple mobile devices. They provide 500 MB of traffic per month for free.
Unlimited is paid, but costs only $5 per month. And if you pay for the year at once, it’s 50% cheaper.
To use, you need to install the program and register an account in the system. One account can be used on five devices simultaneously.
Other programs. For a computer, I recommend using the Opera browser from free programs. It has a built-in VPN, which is exactly what you need to change your IP address. It turns on like this: Menu - Settings - Security - Enable VPN.
There are also free browser extensions such as Browsec and Hola. But according to reviews, they encrypt poorly. In addition, many users have problems with Contact because of them.
There are many VPN apps for phones and tablets. But they are often unreliable: they do not encrypt traffic and monitor the user. This is especially true for Android devices. If we talk about the most popular ones, then the free ones are Browsec and Hola.
Anonymizers
Anonymizers are sites on the Internet through which you can get to blocked resources without a VPN. You go to such a site, type the Contact’s address there, and the social network opens.
Of the minuses, it should be noted that Contact may work slower and contain additional advertising. Also, the design on it may change slightly - blocks, fonts, etc. may move out.
Chameleon - cameleo.xyz - the most popular anonymizer. Just type vk.com in the line and click the “Go” button.
2IP (2ip.ru) is a more reliable service, but works a little slower. You can select the country from which you want to open the site. The principle is the same: type the vk.com address in the line and click “Open”.
Is it safe?
The danger of programs and services for bypassing blocking is that they can intercept data. For example, login and password for Contact. They can also monitor your online activities.
How to protect yourself:
- Use such services only to log into VK. That is, do not use them to work with other sites;
- Protect your page from hacking.

VK allows you to write a personal message to a person, knowing only his phone number. You won't be able to see his page, name or photo. It is also impossible to check whether he read the message or not. But if he wants, he will answer you - after that you can open his page and look at it. Search by number via the VK mobile application
There are ways to search on VK using a linked phone number (through “possible friends”), but they do not guarantee that you will find a person. After all, the page may be linked to his other number, which you do not know. In addition, he could prohibit finding it by number.
You can try to find a person by number through the VK mobile application on Android:
- Write down the person’s number in the phone book on your phone (in “Contacts”).
- Install the VKontakte application for Android on your phone.
- Go to the application.
- Open the Friends section (4th button in the bottom row).
- Click Add Friend.
- Click Contacts under the Import Friends heading.
- A confirmation will appear - click Yes.
- Wait a while and you will see all the people whose numbers are saved in your phone and who are not yet your friends on VK - the person you are looking for should be among them.
How to get through a person on VK by number (another method)
VK offers you possible acquaintances from your phone contacts. This method uses a blank smartphone with an empty contact list.
- Take your smartphone (after resetting).
- You buy a SIM card.
- Enter the phone number you want to dial into your address book (contacts).
- Install the official VK application.
- You give him access to your phone contacts.
- Register a new page.
- You wait, and after a while VK will begin to show you in “possible friends” the page of the person who is in your contacts.
Search through VK password recovery
There is also a small opportunity to find a person by cell number through VKontakte password recovery. But for this you need to know the last name. If you exit VK, click Forgot your password, then correctly enter the person’s phone number and last name, the site will show the person’s first name, last name and city. Previously, it was possible to immediately find out the link to a person’s page, but this feature was removed long ago. Therefore, such a search will not give anything new - if you know the number and last name, then you probably know both the city and the name - which means you can find the person, as described above, at the very beginning.
If my page doesn't open
Problems with logging into VK can arise for various reasons:
- Engineering works;
- Profile hacking;
- Computer virus and others.
Now I will show you step by step how to identify the problem and solve it.
If you are on the territory of Ukraine, then in your case we are talking about a global blocking. The same applies to users who try to open a social network on a work or school computer. In these cases, only bypassing the blocking will help.
Checking the site address
First you need to look at the site addresses. It is listed in the top line of the browser. It must say vk.com or https://vk.com.

If something else is indicated in this line instead of vk.com, then you are on a fraudulent site.
To get started, follow the link to the correct website: vk.com.
The website “Welcome | VKontakte" and the address bar says vk.com? So, everything is fine - go to your profile and use it. Just to be on the safe side, change your password and log into VK correctly from now on.
And if something wrong is written in the address bar again, it means there is a virus on the computer. Proceed directly to step 3.
Trying to log in from another device
So you've completed the first step. Everything is correct in your address bar, but VK still won’t open. Moreover, other Internet pages work properly.
Then I recommend immediately checking whether the site works on another device. I'll show you how to do this on your phone:
- Open the Internet browsing program;
- On the top line we type m.vk.com and go to this address.
If the site did NOT open on another device. This means the problem is global. It happens that Contact is not available throughout the Internet. This happens when developers update the system or when the site has technical problems. I advise you to just wait a couple of hours and try to log in again.
If the site opened on another device, but it still doesn’t work on yours, it means the problem is local. Proceed to the next step.
Removing the virus
There are viruses that block websites on your computer. This usually applies to popular resources: Odnoklassniki, VKontakte, Yandex, Mail.ru. Now I will show you how to clean your computer from such viruses.
Cleaning the hosts file.
To do this, go to “Computer” (Start - Computer) and open the Local disk on which the system is located. Typically this is Local Drive C.
Then open the Windows folder, System32 in it, then drivers and the etc folder in it. There will be a hosts file.
It needs to be opened via Notepad. To do this, double-click on hosts with the left mouse button and select Notepad in the window.
Now we delete the line where it says vk.com. Usually it looks like in the picture (the numbers may be different).
Next, click File - Save, then close Notepad and the etc folder.
And let’s try to go to Contact via the link “https://vk.com/”. If the site does not open, restart your computer.
We remove viruses using the Dr.Web CureIt utility.
Dr.Web CureIt! (official website “https://free.drweb.ru/cureit”) is a free program that will scan and cure the system for viruses. It does not require installation: you just need to download the file from the official website and run it.

It is very simple to scan and clean your computer through it: click “Start scan” and follow the instructions. After cleaning, go to your VK page and change your password.
If it didn't help. Perhaps in your case it is not a virus, but a blockage. For example, on the territory of Ukraine, the VKontakte website, like Odnoklassniki, is blocked by presidential decree. But if you think it is a virus, I advise you to clean your computer with the free AdwCleaner utility. It will find and remove what Dr.Web CureIt could not detect.
You can also clean the system manually:
- Clear the history;
- Remove shortcuts from all browsers;
- Clean Windows scheduler;
- Remove suspicious extensions from the browser;
- Clear browser properties.
