- Messages under the video are not transmitted to VK. This process cannot be carried out automatically.

Import from VKontakte to Instagram
There is no official connection between Instagram and VKontakte. If a user connects a profile from Instagram to a VK page, an album is created with pictures and the latest videos. To add a video from VK to Instagram, the user will have to download it first.
Afterwards it is published using the standard method. The problem is that there is no button for connecting a VKontakte account in the official Instagram application, so reverse import is impossible.
The only social network from which you can send videos for Instagram is Facebook. In other cases, transfer is available using the “Share” button.
To download and add a video from Contact to Instagram:
- Open your VK profile using the web version.
- In the address line, put the English letter “m” and a period before “vk.com”.
- The mobile view will open - right-click on the video.
- Save as – specify free space on your computer.

What do you need to know?
In fact, not everything is so simple when posting video materials between social networks. The main problem that a user who uploads video content from VK to Insta will face is the length of the video. The option to repost photo materials works like clockwork, but the ability to publish videos is limited to a duration of up to 1 minute.
Many users will find it difficult to create the Insta-VK link, which was described above. However, today this is the only opportunity to upload videos from VK to Insta. How to make a link to Instagram in VK?
VKontakte allows you to specify a link to Instagram in simpler ways. Let's look at them in more detail:
- Link on your personal page in the “Contacts” section.
To do this, just create a connection between accounts.
- Link in the group in the "Links" section.
We open a community in which we have administrator rights. Find the “Links” block and click on “edit.” Then - “Add link”. We paste the address of our account, add a signature and save the changes.

Here you will have to cheat, since the community contacts do not provide a separate field for Insta. Therefore, we either add a new contact, in which we insert the address in the “Email” field, and sign it in the “Position” field. Or add the address to the “Email” section of an existing contact.

How to set up import between social networks
The VK profile allows access to more detailed settings for exporting records. Users independently choose the places where publications then end up and where they are saved. The following saving options are available to choose from:
- “On my wall” - in the news feed on the wall in the profile. The post will be immediately marked with the Insta symbol, and a link to the post will remain.
- “To Selected Album” – the recording will appear in the “Saved” section or will be moved to a special section created automatically.
- “Import with tag” – not all profile photos are available for publication, but only posts tagged with certain tags. These tags include #VK or #VKpost. The first tag will send the photo to an album called “Instagram”, and the second will repost the post directly to the news wall.

How to add Instagram to VK through the web version of the site? To do this, do the following:
- Go to the main page of your VKontakte profile.
