5. The next step will be to search and confirm your profile. This will require the user's last name, so before entering the recovery form, it is recommended to clarify the correct spelling of your data through friends on the social network. They must match the data specified in the profile. You don't need to write your full name, just your last name. There are no additional hints with “peeping” information.

   

6. After entering the last name, the system will display the proposed account. • Friends – users you have added as friends. Other members of the VKontakte social network can see all your friends, with the exception of hidden ones.

• Receive notifications – allows you to receive notifications about changes made by a person in VK. Unlike the “Follow” function, it does not reveal to the person your interest.
• Add to bookmarks – moves the profile link to the left menu.
• Report page – sends a notification to administrators about violation of established rules (materials of an erotic nature, sending advertising messages, not a real profile, etc.).
• Block – blocks a person’s access to your VK profile and the ability to write personal messages.
• Do not report broadcasts – hides notifications about streams.
• Hide news – the person’s posts will be hidden from your feed.
