In the previous article, I talked about preparing for artistic wall painting, how to choose paints and painting techniques. And now we have a more difficult task, we will transfer the prepared sketch to the surface of the wall.

Step-by-step transfer of a picture to the wall using squares:

First of all, we divide the sketch/drawing into squares. In other words, we draw a grid. To do this, carefully draw out the drawing on paper, calculating in advance the scale of enlarging the sketch onto the wall. For example, the grid can be 2 cm each square.

We mark the place of painting on the wall using stretched twine, securing it in a convenient way. This is so as not to go beyond the boundaries of the intended area for painting.
Now we divide the wall into squares. It is important to remember that the number of squares on the wall is equal to the number on the paper sketch.
We transfer the drawing to the wall, this is the most tedious and painstaking part of the work, the basis of artistic painting. The type of future work depends on the accuracy and quality of its implementation. The more details there are in the sketch, the more precise you need to be in transferring the drawing to the cells!
Let's proceed directly to painting. In one of my videos about painting on walls, I said that this is also painting, only on the wall and in a large size))
It is important to go from light to dark, and not vice versa. Start with light tones, gradually thickening the color, making it more contrasting.
