Well, some advice for beginners, as well as a reminder for experienced users - you don’t need to click on notifications about an incoming message either on your phone or on your computer. Otherwise, a dialogue will open and the message will no longer remain unread. But this advice is only relevant for those who have enabled notifications on Android, iPhone or PC.

If a social network has changed the background of a message from blue to white, then this is irrevocable; in VK it is impossible to make a message unread - this is worth remembering.
