Sociate - advertising exchange, review and instructions for use

A couple of days ago I wrote an article about attracting VKontakte subscribers, in which I talked about buying advertising. Today we will dwell on this in more detail and get acquainted with the Sociate platform.


Sociate is an advertising exchange where you can both buy advertising and sell advertising space (this will be discussed in one of the following posts).

A little about exchanges

The main official exchange is the exchange from VK, the rest of the projects are unofficial. The VK exchange has several serious disadvantages that its competitors do not have. This:

  • Strict moderation (they can find fault with literally everything, and it’s very difficult to do good creative work here)
  • High prices (from 147 rubles minimum)
  • “Relatively” small selection (there are no small, narrowly themed communities, which are often the most attractive)
  • Incomplete statistics

That’s why I, for example, don’t like to use it, and prefer to negotiate with the administrator directly or use other exchanges.

Advertising approval

Advertising of some goods or services is permitted after personal approval from the Administration of social networks.

Products requiring approval:

  • medicines, medical equipment, medical products, medical services;
  • baby food;
  • dietary supplements;
  • sports nutrition;
  • credit organizations and microfinance organizations;
  • goods using registered trademarks and intellectual property;
  • products and services for weight loss.

Creating an advertisement

In the left corner we see the “advertiser” section, select the “advertising” item. A window with tabs appears on the right.

  • Post - create an advertising post, add the necessary content (photos, videos, gifs, etc.)
  • Repost - indicate a link to the advertised post.
  • Instagram - post for advertising on Instagram.

Give the name of the advertising company and click on the “create task” button.

Now you can select sites manually or offer the task to administrators (if interested, they will send applications for placement).

Segmento Target

Analogous to Cerebro, but with a slightly different operating algorithm. Segmento Target will help you get:

  • People who like to discuss something specific, for example, cars.
  • People who ask commercial questions under the photo, for example, “how much does it cost” or are interested in the cost or delivery time of specific goods.
  • People who recently visited a specific establishment (fitness, restaurant, bar, etc.).
  • People whose other halves have a birthday soon.
  • Users whose friends have already bought something from you.
  • Bloggers and opinion leaders.
  • Group administrators or business owners.
  • People with a certain level of income, for example, up to 100 thousand rubles. per month.

You can upload the resulting list to your VKontakte advertising account and display ads only to your target audience. Due to the accurate collection of target audience, the number of applications for a product or service increases many times over.

Selection of sites

We go to the site selection window by clicking on the corresponding line in the menu on the left, and proceed to selecting communities. The system offers a wide range of settings:

  • Type of social network
  • Subjects
  • Keyword (search for a community using the required word)
  • Price range (from and to, minimum prices start from 3 (!) rubles)
  • Advertising coverage, from (specify the required minimum value, from 3000, for example)
  • Number of participants
  • CPM, no more (CPM is the cost of advertising per 1000 impressions)

Additionally, you can select communities:

  1. posting direct links
  2. placing advertisements in broadcasts

There is an option to exclude closed communities. The “my favorites” item allows you to select only among the communities included in the list of favorites.

Advanced settings:

  • Eliminate sleepyheads (we weed out admins who take a long time to review applications)
  • Gender (select the percentage of male or female audience)
  • Age
  • City
  • A country

After setting the filter, the system will display the groups and publics available for posting.

For each you can see detailed statistics: visits, coverage, demographics, CRM.

After selecting the community you like, click the “post” button and select the time and date for publication of the advertisement.

How to organize earnings on social networks

Lately, users have become increasingly interested in making money on social networks. Today, many people already know that social networks can provide their users not only with wide functionality for interacting with each other - they can also act as a powerful tool for organizing a profitable Internet project.

My opinion is that Sociate is the number one advertising exchange among unofficial projects of this type. She has many advantages, including:

  1. Low price (buy advertising placement for 3 rubles, where else has this been seen!)
  2. A high-quality system for selecting sites according to specified parameters (thanks to fine settings, you can select an almost ideal community for your advertising)
  3. A large number of advertising platforms
  4. Excellent moderation
  5. Detailed statistics

I didn’t find any downsides as such; in my opinion, Sociate is an advertising exchange that deserves a lot of attention from advertisers.

In Plibber, the choice of advertising platforms increases compared to Sociate. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter are available here in addition to VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Instagram. In total there are about 30,000 offers for placement.

The referral program will help those who bring new people to the service to earn money. If the referral is a customer and community administrator combined, the person who referred him will receive 30% of the system commission. If the referral is only an advertiser - 15%, only an admin - 10%.

There are other interesting opportunities on the exchange, but I moved them to the “Pros and Cons” section, since they raise many questions.

What is the price


I couldn’t find any replenishment and withdrawal of funds from bank cards. Withdrawal of money is possible using WMR, Yandex.Money and Qiwi. The commission is 15%, despite the fact that replenishment is free.

Initially, the “Starter” tariff is available. You will be able to create requests in batches, receive responses and SMS notifications about paid tasks if you are not only a customer, but also a contractor.

For 377 rubles per month you can buy “Golden status”. This additionally includes automatic response to applications for bloggers, priority sending of advertiser applications, and control by the service of the date and time of paid applications.

Cons and pros

The advantages of the exchange include:

  • Topping up your balance without commission, which is good for the advertiser.
  • A convenient account, a friendly interface, help from service specialists in setting up an advertising campaign - not individual, but in the “News” section you can find a lot of useful tips.
  • It is possible to download a detailed report upon completion of the campaign, which will help analyze its effectiveness.
  • Anyone interested can participate in the referral program.
  • There is a task chat where an advertiser can discuss placement details with the group or channel administrator.
  • For 377 rubles per month, an influencer can acquire gold status and receive more requests from advertisers. With a lot of competition, this is a useful service.


Real-time statistics only show user demographics, in other cases there is no statistics. The disadvantages are:

  • Large commission for withdrawal of funds - you will have to pay 15% of the amount.
  • Technical support is in no hurry to respond, judging by the majority of responses. But this is relative, since some users are answered almost immediately. It depends on your luck. Or negative reviews are associated with requests on weekends or holidays, when support is not fully staffed.
  • There is no information about legal registration or site owners. This is a little annoying, although it does not stop serious companies whose cases are posted on the main page. Apparently, this information can still be obtained if you ask this question directly.

The administration assures that the selection of advertising platforms is strictly moderated. But reviews and the lack of real-time statistics indicate that the service was leaked by resources scammed by bots.


It’s worth checking the site where you want to advertise using third-party services, the user advises

Such problems, in principle, are easily solved. If you are careful, you won’t have any hiccups about this.

However, there is still data on the coverage and activity of users, but when they were updated is a question.

Many administrators have been absent from the site for more than a month... how long is that? A year is also more than a month.


You need to look closely at metrics such as ER. What is the third group from the top worth with millions of subscribers, zero coverage and a mad appetite for money?

But the first conclusion does not mean it is correct - the group needs to be studied, because activity in commercial accounts differs from entertainment ones, so ER data is not the ultimate truth. But it’s a good reason to think about it and check the community before investing your earnings there.

We publish the application

Orders awaiting placement are displayed in the In Progress section. Each order has the date, time of publication and terms of placement. If necessary, change the publishing settings (posting method, deleting a post, etc.). Go to Order Details to see placement details.

After setting up automatic order publishing, you no longer need to place anything yourself. If you chose manual placement, then you need to publish an advertising post in your community at the specified time.

It is important that the post is posted on behalf of the community and contains all the content that the advertiser has added. If your order is placed incorrectly, you will receive an error message.

It will take 5 minutes to fix the error, since the placement check has already begun. If the error is not corrected, the task will be considered failed.

To post your order on Instagram, install the Sociate app for Android or iOS. Go to the In Progress section in the application, find the required order and open its details. Click "Post to Instagram."

Please note that the text will only be copied, but the post will not be automatically added. The Instagram application will open (check that the desired account is open), which will display the photo to post

Skip the photo editing steps, paste the text that was automatically copied to the clipboard and click Publish. Verification will begin immediately after publication. The order will not be fulfilled if you publish a post by changing the image size or applying a filter.

The choice of bloggers here is relatively small - about 32,000, which is a little strange considering that the platform does not take commissions and allows you to negotiate the cost of advertising directly with the customer. Why is that?

Essentially this is a marketplace. The advertiser will have to pay for the opportunity to view the blogger’s profile, statistics, invite opinion leaders to cooperate and access to other goodies. For bloggers, working on the platform is free.

Looking at these numbers, you understand that GetBlogger is not a cheap pleasure

The purchase of tokens is the advertiser’s payment for access to the platform. If you think that this includes the cost of an advertising campaign, you are mistaken. Negotiate with bloggers yourself.

Let's start with the pros:

This is not the entire review, but there is an interesting update here. GetBlogger carefully monitors its online reputation, but sometimes their attempts have the opposite effect

For most services on the platform you will have to pay in tokens. For example, for analyzing an Instagram account or competitors, which takes a few seconds here, you will have to pay from 1 to 3 tokens.

If you don’t like the platform and want to leave, there is no refund. Or, judging by some reviews, getting them is not at all easy.

The fact is that there is no withdrawal of funds from the site, as such. Bloggers receive money directly from the customer, and the administration offers to use the remaining tokens in the advertiser’s account by assigning a professional marketer to the client.

But for new users, a promotional code is often available whereby the first package of tokens can be purchased with a 50% discount.
