Playing music requires speed!
The most common problem is insufficient Internet speed. First, read how to measure your speed. If it is lower than 200-300 Kbps, then there will be problems with playing high-quality music. And if it is lower than 100Kbps, then most tracks will slow down. I assure you that media content (video, music) requires a more or less good connection.
In principle, at low speeds caching should help, i.e. when you press “Play” and immediately pause. Then you wait until the bar is full and turn on the track again.
If you are sure that you should have good speed, but the tests showed very little, then contact your Internet provider so that they can sort out the problem. Okay, let’s say everything is fine with the speed and the rest of the sites “fly”.

Relatively recently, about a year ago, VKontakte introduced a restriction on listening to music. Thus, half an hour a day is now available for mobile applications. Then you are offered to pay for the subscription and remove restrictions. Its cost is 149 rubles per month. To do this, you need to download the Boom application, pay for a subscription and listen to music without restrictions.
It is important to note that you cannot bypass this limitation unless you open the full version of the site on your mobile browser, but this is not always convenient.
Flash player performance
Next, you need to make sure Adobe Flash Player is working correctly. This is a special module that all browsers use to play music, videos and run Flash games. If there is no flash player, then most likely there will be a message like this:
I advise you to read in more detail how to install Flash Player. Also note that in the Google Chrome browser this module is built in from birth. By the way, it is recommended to update the module to the latest version in all browsers. To do this, you must first remove the old one, then install the new one.
After you install the plugin for any other browser, check if music is played in Contact. There is also another known problem in chrome, try it if nothing helps. If this was not the problem, then move on.

Why is there no sound in the browser, but there is sound on the computer, what could this be connected with? Sometimes the system automatically disables certain parameters - we will provide short instructions using the example of the Google Chrome browser if there is no sound in it:
- Click on the three dots icon in the upper right corner;
- Click on the “Settings” icon;

Checking your computer for viruses

If viruses are found, I also advise you to change all passwords that were remembered in the browser. It's no secret that most Trojans steal all the passwords they can get their hands on, so don't delay.
Checking the volume in the mixer
Even though turning the volume down to zero seems like an obvious solution to this problem, not all users check this element first. It's not at all difficult to do this.
In the toolbar, which is located in the lower right corner, near the clock, you need to find the speaker icon. By clicking on it, you can determine what volume level is set on your device right now. If it is at zero, raise it at least halfway to determine if the problem changes.

In addition, the volume mixer has the ability to raise or lower the volume of specific applications or games. For example, you have music playing in your browser, but you are running a game and don’t want the music to be too loud compared to the game. Using the mixer, you can lower the audio level slightly for the browser and raise the volume for the game. To check this, you need to right-click on the speaker icon and select “Volume Mixer” there.

In the new window, pay attention to applications that have their sound turned off and raise the volume level for them. It is likely that it is because of them that the user does not hear any sounds during operation.

Problems with the operating system or computer
If the system is cluttered after the indiscriminate installation of programs, especially with “breaker” programs, the stability of the computer may well be disrupted. Accordingly, problems may arise and the music will not play normally. Here we need an integrated approach; we need to clean or reinstall the system.
To begin with, I would recommend rolling back to an earlier restore point, at a time when everything was still working as it should. Well, if it doesn’t help, then reinstall the entire system. If you are unable to do this yourself, then ask a specialist you know.
If after pressing the “Play” button the audio recording bar turns blue, i.e. the music loads, but there is no sound, then most likely there is a problem with the audio device. In this case, there should be no sound on other sites. Read my article on how to solve this problem of lack of sounds.
There may also be a problem with the Internet protocol IPv6 (if you have Windows 7/8/10). To check and exclude this option, do the following:
- Go to “Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center”
- Go to "Change adapter settings" on the left
- Select your network connection, right-click and click "Properties"
- Uncheck the box next to “Internet Protocol Version 6”
- Click OK and reboot
