If the phone does not respond and it is impossible to enter the “Settings” item, a reset can be performed as follows:

1. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time until vibration starts (about 10-15 seconds).
2. After the vibration starts, release the buttons and immediately press Volume Down again until an exclamation mark appears on the screen.
3. Press the following buttons in order: volume up, volume down, power button, then volume down again.
4. Wait until the reset procedure completes.

The only possible option is to install a third-party application, which you will not find in the Windows Store. Audio recordings still work in the VK Advanced client version 4.11.1.0. In version 4.12 with expanded functionality dated 07.25.17 it is no longer available. That's why we took a slightly older version. Please note that music works with this client only if the current account has NOT been logged in through the updated VK client (via Windows Mobile, Android, iOS - it doesn’t matter). We are talking only about mobile applications; you can access it through a browser. If you nevertheless missed the update and the client was updated while you were logged in, you will have to register a new VK page, specifically for audio recordings (music works with newly created pages).
