Any visitor to the community can submit their material for publication. If it has a certain value, managers can post it.
For this purpose, there is no need to directly contact the administration and show them the data that you want to post. All you have to do is use the special function “Suggest news”. Complete the post according to all the rules and send it for review. If approved, it will be published.
This feature has a number of limitations. We will talk about them below. We’ll also look at the whole process - we’ll learn how to offer news in VKontakte communities.
What are the restrictions?
As you remember, there are two main types of communities - groups and public pages. The news suggestion function is only available for public pages.
If you need it, you should transfer the group to a public VKontakte page. After this, the tool will become available.
Please note that the link to work will only be available to guests, visitors and community members. Managers won't be able to see it.
If you are friends
When a guy and a girl have known each other for more than one year, discuss their exes and are close friends, it’s somehow awkward to start talking about the relationship. What if young people don’t notice love under friendship? Then you need to decide. Use a couple of effective methods and carefully, beautifully invite the girl to meet like this:

How to allow news suggestions in a group
Let me note again - the community type should be “Public Page”. But according to old habit, all users call any community a group. We won't fall behind. But you remember the restrictions listed above.
So, if you need to make this function available to visitors, or the “Suggest news” button has disappeared, check the following settings.

Go to the desired community, and in the menu block click “Management”. Next we need the Settings tab. There we scroll the page to the very bottom, to the “Additional information” section. Here, find the “Suggested News” block. And in the list, select the “From all users” option. Don't forget to save the settings.
There are two more items on the list:
- Only from subscribers;
- Off.
The first option activates the feature only for community members. The second one turns it off completely.
Settings before publishing
Creating a post is very simple. It’s much more difficult to design and customize it so that it captivates your audience and gets a lot of likes. Design is a topic for a separate article, but we’ll deal with a few settings right now.
There are several options in the settings that will help you adjust your privacy, commenting, and posting time settings.
Privacy. By default, the post you publish will be visible to everyone who has access to your page. To limit your audience to friends only, click on “Visible to everyone” and check the box next to “Friends Only.”
Commenting. You can completely disable comments on your page in your privacy settings. But if you need to limit the ability to comment on only one post, then this can be done right before it is published. Just hover over the gear icon and check the box next to “Turn off comments.”
Notifications. To avoid receiving notifications about every like, comment, and repost, check the “Do not send notifications” option. It's hidden under the gear icon, just like the option to turn off comments.
If you often publish new articles, and your friends and subscribers react very actively to them, then it is better to turn off notifications in advance in the privacy settings of the page.
It is not necessary to publish the article immediately. VK has a delayed posting function.
How to propose news in a group
Let's analyze the process in the full version of VK, and then through the application on the phone.

Note. In the block for creating a new entry, the prompt “Suggest news” is immediately indicated. Here, create a new entry, formatting it according to your preferences. You can add photos, videos and other content.
When the post is fully prepared, click on the “Submit news” button.
You can always edit the data. Your entry will now appear in the Suggested tab. Just open the menu and select “Edit”. Then make the necessary changes.

A link to delete a post is also available here. If you see that the proposed news has disappeared, the administrator may have deleted it. Your post is probably not suitable.

How to publish a suggested news item
To do this you need to be on the list of community leaders.
Go to the desired group and open the “Suggested” tab. Here is a list of all publications that were sent by users.
For each of them, there are three main options:
- Preparation for publication;
- Deviation;
- Delete.
Basic actions with the proposed news
With rejection and deletion, I think everything is clear. We need to see how the publishing mechanism works.
Click on the “Prepare for publication” button. The recording goes into editing mode. Here you can make any edits. You can add content, change text, etc. If necessary, you can schedule publication for a specific date. To do this, set the time in the calendar.
When everything is ready, click on the “Publish” button.
From the phone we proceed by analogy.
Open the community and go to the “Suggested News” section. Here we find the required entry. If necessary, go into editing mode and make the required changes. To publish, click on the “Publish” button. To refuse - “Reject”.
Correspondence
There are many ways to invite a girl to meet on VK, by correspondence. They are suitable for those who have not yet made a date or are afraid to do so in a real meeting.

Any user can ask to publish their news anonymously. The post will be posted on behalf of the community and no link to the author will be shown.
But the administrator can ignore this request and force the author to indicate the publication.

To ask to hide your authorship, at the stage of creating a new post in proposals, activate the item “Signature will be hidden when editing a post.” Then we send it for review.
We offer anonymous recording
If you log into the community from the admin page and open the publication for editing, the “Author’s signature” item will still be enabled. This point is not entirely clear. If you look into it, the tool does not work correctly. But as it is.
To approve anonymous posting requests, we set this option to Disabled. Then we post.

Therefore, there is no guarantee that your news will be anonymous. This issue is left to the discretion of community leaders.
